On January 1, 2010, Don Lilly, MBA, FACHE, began his new role as UABHS vice president of clinical network development. In this position he is focusing on hospital outreach — maintaining and strengthening relationships among UABHS and local and state hospitals and health care providers.
Developing win-win relationships with other health care providers contributes to UABHS’s mission of providing high-quality health care to all Alabama the citizens, a key goal of the Bridge to the Future Program. Lilly also is serving as interim president of Callahan Eye Foundation Hospital.
Since joining UABHS in 2005 he has held several key leadership positions, including UAB Highlands CEO, UAB Hospital associate vice president, and most recently, interim CEO of Medical West Hospital. Lilly has more than 25 years experience in health care management and administration.
