At UAB our pharmacists have a story to tell. It's a story about being respected for your knowlege and your hard work gaining that knowledge. It's a story about a hospital where every pharmacist is treated as a clinical pharmacist, rather than a select few. It's a story about a residency program that's been ongoing for more than thirty years, a system designed to get medicines to patients more efficiently that ever, and a state -of- the- art central pharmacy and compounding operation. Most of all, it's about a group of 120 pharmacists working together to help integrated patient care teams deliver world -class medicine.
