UAB Hospital Safety Fair
UAB Hospital’s third annual Safety Fair will be held March 12, 7 am to 3 pm, at the West Pavilion Atrium. More than 40 departments and teams as well as vendors will offer interactive displays on patient and hospital safety.

AOA Banquet
Alabama Alpha Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA), the national medical honor society, will hold its annual banquet at the Birmingham Museum of Art, March 19, at 6 pm. UAB Department of Pathology Chair Jay M. McDonald, MD, will serve as guest speaker. Dr. McDonald will address “Keys to Success” at the event. Tickets are $50.

Specialty Update, Golf Tournament
The UAB Health System Specialty Update and Benefit Golf Tournament will be August 11 and October 13, respectively.
The annual Specialty Update with CEUs available is free to Alabama-licensed health care providers. Only 200 attendees are allowed at the West Pavilion Conference Center event.
