John D. Sherrill Chair and Division of Orthopaedic Surgery Director Thomas R. Hunt III, MD, announces the appointment of Nicholas T. Mansuetta, DO, as assistant professor of surgery.

Dr. Mansuetta’s clinical interests include upper extremity disorders in adults ranging from rotator cuff tears to elbow injuries to hand trauma and arthritis. He is an accomplished microsurgeon with expertise in peripheral nerve surgery.

Dr. Mansuetta is a graduate of Southeastern University of the Health Sciences in Miami. He completed a general surgery internship and an orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he also completed a hand and microvascular surgery fellowship.
