The Alabama Hospital Association presented awards to five local health care employees at a reception hosted by the Birmingham Regional Council of the Alabama Hospital Association — one of seven presentations held as part of the association’s 3rd annual statewide “Health Care Heroes” contest to honor state health care workers and highlight health careers

A team of Nursing Leadership Council members designed a program to support both new graduates and nurses new to UAB Hospital.
