UAB Hospital’s new North Pavilion Market Place Food Court offers visitors and staff grab-and-go or made-to-order meals without making a trek outside the hospital.

This is not your average food court. The Market Place has a bright and airy dining room with windows over-looking the street, and is accented with colorful modern lighting and artwork.

While the setting provides an aesthetically refreshing oasis, the food court also fills a practical need for places to eat inside the new hospital. The food court includes Starbucks coffee; Chic-fil-A, with chicken sandwiches and more; Pandini’s, an Italian eatery with made-to-order pizzas, pastas and salads; Freshens Smoothies, with healthy smoothies as well as shakes and upscale desserts; Café Fresca, which has convenient ready-to-go salads, parfaits, sandwiches and wraps; and Charleston Market, which has complete meat-and-vegetable meals and a full breakfast.

The Market Place Food Court is on the second floor of the hospital and is open Monday through Saturday for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
