Whether you need a regular checkup or treatment for an illness or a minor injury, you’ll find expert care close to home at our UAB Health Centers. With convenient locations in Hoover, Hueytown, Inverness and Moody, UAB Health Centers offer comprehensive primary care as well as referrals to more than 600 specialists in 30 fields of medicine. You’ll have access to UAB Hospital’s leading treatments and technology.

Each health center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Each clinic offers internal medicine services for adults and teens; the Moody location also sees pediatric patients, and Hueytown’s family practice physicians see children ages 2 and up.

Each UAB Health Center offers basic lab and radiology services on site and three of the centers offer on-site X-rays. Minor surgical procedures can also be performed at each of the centers, and some cancer screening is also available.

The physicians, nurses and staff at the UAB Health Centers not only work in the area—they are part of the community. Many of them live nearby and are active in the area. We believe that’s an important part of providing compassionate care to our neighbors.
