These specialists have instant access to a combination of new treatments that can reduce the chance of a recurrent preterm birth by one-third to one-half.
UAB has the only board-certified maternal-fetal medicine specialists in Alabama north of Mobile. One of these 11 specialists is also board-certified in genetics. UAB offers Alabama’s only first-trimester genetic counseling service.
