The Workplace and arrival instructions:
From I-65 heading south:
Take exit 259-B (4th Avenue South), exit to the right and loop back under I-65. At the second stop light, turn right onto 13th Street south. Stay on 13th Street South until you reach UAB Highlands. The Workplace is located on the ground level, just to the left of the mani entrance to the hospital.
From I-65 heading north:
Take Exit 259 (8th Avenue South), turn right onto University Blvd. At the third stop light turn onto 13th Street South. Stay on 13th Street south until you reach UAB Highlands. The Workplace is located on the ground level and just to the left of the main entrance to the hospital.
From US 280:
Take the 8th Avenue South exit, go west onto University Blvd. (toward downtown). Travel through the UAB Campus, turn left at 13th Street South (landmark UAB Overpass). Stay on 13th Street South until you reach UAB Highlands. The Workplace is located on the ground level and just to the left of the main entrance.
From I-20/59 heading west:
Proceed on to Interstate 65 South. Take exit 259-B (4th avenue South), turn right onto University Blvd. At the second stop light turn right onto 13th Street South. Stay on 13th Street south until you reach UAB Highlands. The Workplace is located on the ground level and just to the left of the main entrance.
From I-20/59 heading east:
Proceed onto Interstate 65 South. Take Exit 259-B (4th Avenue South), exit to the right and loop back under I-65. At the second stop light take a right onto 13th Street South. Stay straight until you reach the Healthsouth Medical center. The Workplace is located on the ground level and just to the left of the main entrance of the hospital.
From UAB or Kirklin Clinic:
Turn right onto 5th Avenue South, then immediately turn right onto 22nd Street and turn right again onto 6th Avenue South. Stay on 6th Avenue South until you come to 13th Street South. Turn left onto 13th Street South and travel until you reach UAB Highlands. The Workplace is located on the ground level just to the left of the main entrance.
