The Sparks Center for Developmental and Learning Disorders offers a comprehensive array of interdisciplinary diagnostic, treatment, rehabilitative, and educational services to infants, children, and adults who are developmentally disabled, mentally retarded, or at risk.

The Center is equipped to give extensive evaluations by demonstration teams that include physicians, dentists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, and specialists in nutrition, speech and hearing, vision, physical and occupational therapy, and vocational rehabilitation. The Center also provides training to health professionals who work in service areas providing preventive, diagnostic, or remedial services for the developmentally delayed.
