Parkinson's Disease Center

The Midsouth Regional Parkinson's Disease Information and Referral Center is a centralized unit which provides information on Parkinson's Disease. Referrals are made to community and professional services, including medical, neurological, home nursing, psychological, occupational therapy, physical therapy, nutritional, and social services.

Self-help Parkinson's Disease support groups assist patients and their families by giving them opportunities to share and learn.

A Parkinson's Disease Clinic, staffed by a movement disorder specialist and a nurse specialist, is held several days each week. Referrals are required.

The center also provides continuing education to health care professionals.
