Neuro-Oncology Program

The Brain Tumor Program employs state-of-the-art methods of treating patients with primary brain tumors or neurologic complications of systemic cancer.
  • For patients with primary brain tumors, treatment options include a combination of chemo-, biological, radiation, and gene therapy approaches.

  • For patients with metastases to the central nervous system from systemic cancer, procedures may involve "frameless" stereostatic surgery as well as Gamma Knife radiosurgery.
  • This program also engages in research to investigate and improve treatment options for patients, and its physicians offer consultation services for patients with non-metastatic complications of cancer.
