Comprehensive Parkinson Disease and Movement Disorders Clinic at The Kirklin Clinic diagnoses and treats patients suffering from Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, Tourette's syndrome, torticollis, blepharospasm and other dystonias, essential and other tremors, reflex sympathetic dystrophy, myoclonus, restless leg syndrome, and tardive dyskinesia.
The clinic is home to one of the region's only Parkinson's Disease Information and Referral Centers, which provides information and support to patients and families.

Six movement disorders neurologists who specialize in the full range of neurological disorders that affect movement, such as Parkinson's disease and other Parkinsonian disorders, essential tremor and other tremor disorders, dystonia, tics and Tourette syndrome, myoclonus, ataxias, and other movement disorders, see over 3,000 patients annually.
We offer comprehensive diagnostic services and utilize a full range of treatment approaches including medications, physical, occupational and speech therapy, deep brain stimulation surgery, neuropsychological evaluations and treatment, and clinical trials testing new medical and surgical therapies, including "neuroprotective therapies" for PD. We also offer botulinum toxin injection therapy for dystonia, spacity and other movement disorders.
In association with our NIH-funded Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, we have research programs focusing on cognitive impairment and dementia associated with Parkinson's (including Lewy body dementia).
