UAB's orthopaedic specialists and surgeons treat a wide variety of bone, joint and muscle problems which involve the back, neck, spine, hand and foot. In addition, joint reconstruction surgery as well as UAB sports medicine are available through specialized programs at UAB.

The UAB Orthopaedics Program has been ranked one of the best in the country in U.S. News & World Report.

Spain Rehabilitation Center
Located within the UAB Medical Center, Spain Rehabilitation Center provides care and treatment programs, both inpatient and outpatient, that help patients prevent or overcome physicial complications that can result from disorders or injuries.
