The Addiction Recovery Program at UAB unites renowned specialists, innovative treatments, the most advanced research and knowledge, and state-of-the-art medical resources to provide many advantages to our patients. Our multidisciplinary team, directed by addiction specialist Pete Lane, D.O., blend expertise and experience in a multitude of areas from spirituality, social work, and relationships to pain management, sexual abuse, grief, and trauma to create a strong network of support for each patient. We tailor our treatment approach to meet each patient's individual needs. We offer a complete set of treatment services in one place - from assessment to inpatient/outpatient services to follow-up care.
Your Role in Our Care:
As a referral source, you are one of the vital links between addiction and recovery for your patients. We share your concern for them, which is why we invite you to become and important part of our circle of care once you make a referral. Throughout the recovery process, we will keep you informed on your patient's progress and share assessment results and the particulars of treatment. We also will consult with you on discharge planning and continuing care. If you have questions, we welcome your calls at any time.
