UAB Hospital care managers are responsible for utilization review, discharge planning and clinical effectiveness. We understand your needs and concerns and our goal is to respond to your inquiries within 24 hours or the next business day if on Friday. If a message is left early enough in the day we will try to respond to you that day. Contact our department for updates on inpatients and request clinicals.
- Messages should include your name, company, patient info including MR# if possible, date of birth, attending physician or service and brief questions can be left on 205-934-3010.
