Physical Therapy

Spain Rehab Gym
Physical therapy helps the disabled patient reach his or her maximum potential for independence in functional activities. The purposes of physical therapy are to develop new functional skills and utilize present abilities to the maximum advantage. Each rehabilitation goal is realistically established by the therapist through patient evaluation and consideration of the patient's personal goals. The therapist implements treatment programs that include exercises to increase strength, range of motion, coordination, and endurance. Physical modalities may also be used to help relieve symptoms of discomfort or prepare the patient for exercise.
