
Dr. Doug Tilt

Dr. Doug Tilt, an internal medicine physician in Birmingham for 25 years,
led the development of UAB’s primary care system. He recently returned to
UAB to accept an endowed professorship in primary care medicine in the
UAB Department of Medicine. A graduate of UNC Chapel Hill Medical School,
he has received recognition for his leadership in primary care medicine.
His clinical interests include preventive care and geriatrics.

Linda Wright Frawley, R.N.

Nurse Linda Wright has 32 years of experience caring for patients in
primary care practices. She earned her RN degree at Carraway Methodist Nursing School, and has worked with Dr. Tilt for over 20 years. Her background includes emergency medicine, cardiac invasive medicine and critical care nursing. Her special interest is in patient education.

San Cockrell
Nurse Sanquenetta “San” Cockrell has 22 years of nursing experience, with 6 years of experience in urology and nephrology practices. Her background also includes dermatology, orthopedics, dialysis, and medical-surgical nursing.

Joann Crim
Nurse Joann Crim has 22 years of nursing experience, including 20 years in OB/GYN practices. Her background also includes geriatric nursing.

Doris Hill
Nurse Doris Hill has 20 years of nursing experience, including 14 years in internal medicine practices. Her background also includes OB/GYN and medical-surgical nursing.
