Infection Control Nurse

Graduate of accredited school of nursing.  Must have current Alabama nursing license.  Position is responsible for providing surveillance and education throughout the hospital in order to identify, investigate, record data and prevent nosocomial infections.  Completion of an Infection Control course sponsored by the CDC or Association for Practitioners in Infection Control and Prevention, etc. preferred.  Must be familiar with principles of epidemiology and infectious disease.
