The UAB Health Center Huntsville is the northern Alabama anchor of the "UAB Health System," and is the largest physician practice in north Alabama and the only academic multi-specialty facility in this part of the state. We are the primary ambulatory training site for 36 family medicine resident physicians who care for patients of all ages, including children. Resident physicians are physicians receiving a 3-year program of specialty training in Family Medicine.

The UAB Health Center offers:

30 faculty physicians providing care in 5 specialties which include:
- Family Practice
- Internal Medicine
- Pediatrics
- OB/Gyn
- Psychiatry
We accept most types of insurance including Blue Cross, VIVA, United Healthcare, Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid and others
Continuity of care (Physicians are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year round and available at the hospital)
Flexible sigmoidoscopy, OB ultrasound, and other outpatient procedures
Research programs, assessment, education and treatment for chronic illnesses such as Diabetes, Hypertension and Asthma
On-Site Laboratory
On-site Pharmacy
